Take 0.35ct of absolutely stunning apple green diamond and some beautiful recycled 18ct yellow gold and what do you get? This one of a kind engagement ring!
Some projects just go smoothly from start to finish and I’m relieved to say this was one such commission! My customer originally commissioned me to make a mock up of this ring in silver with a white cubic zirconia which he then used as a proposal ring. Happily she said yes! Coloured diamonds had been tentatively discussed so I was very excited when the newly engaged couple were interested in sourcing a green diamond for the final version of their ring.
Here are a few shots of the final ring in the process of being made…
I sourced the diamond from Open Source Minerals who specialise in ethically sourced diamonds. The ring itself is made in 18ct recycled yellow gold and has a gently tapered band to accent the stone itself.
This ring could also be made in Fairtrade Gold and with a white or other coloured diamonds. If you are interested in commissioning me to make a bespoke engagement ring for you please get in touch.
