I’ve had the pleasure of working with a couple of beautiful blue sapphires from Nineteen48 recently and wanted to share a few photos…
The first is a cushion cut sapphire set in yellow gold which works wonderfully with the deep blue colour of the sapphire. The ring itself is satiny white gold with a sky blue topaz and london blue topaz flush set either side of the sapphire.
The second is an oval blue sapphire also set in yellow gold with diamonds set either side in a silver band. The oval is set longways and then I’ve given the whole piece a highly polished finish.
The light was especially good on the day I photographed this ring and I got some great snaps that really show off the beautiful facets in the sapphire :)
